Summer 2003
Mike's parents have 60 of the most beautiful acres on the planet, but during the summer, they are in need of constant mowing. And with that much space, a single push mower just won't cut it!So we climbed aboard the 1946 Allis-Chalmers and mowed the "North 40".
Before long, Chickee got into the act on the smaller garden tractor. Even though it was her first time driving a tractor, she handled it like a pro. When double-teaming the field, it looked like we were playing "Tractor Chicken" When the job was finished, we rode off into the sunset... When we weren't mowing, we helped out on the remodeling project that Mike's parents had going on at a local rental property. Here, Chickee is replacing wicker 'caning' on a coffee table. |
