Our House
In October 2001, we moved into our new place in Laguna Hills, California. It's in an equestrian community called Nellie Gail Ranch. We're just about half way between Los Angeles and San Diego in the heart of Orange County. We previously lived in Irvine, about 15 minutes up the freeway. So far, we love it here! Neither of us is a horse person, but we love to watch them go by on the trail just past our back fence.
This is the back yard. There is a horse trail behind the trees along the back of the property (towards the left in this picture). 
We have many home improvement projects on our list, but we're making progress every year. When we moved in, we had no furniture in our formal living room, and all of our family room furniture is from Mike's bachelor days. Over time, we've upgraded here and there, and at this point, we feel we have made a good first pass.In summer 2002, in Carmel, we picked up our very first pieces of art, but we have yet to frame them.
We'll try to keep this site updated with projects we do, but in the meantime, we enjoy having visitors, so come on by!
